A Show and Tell Seminar
with Capt. John Kumiski!
Where- The Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
When- Saturday February 2. overflow on February 3!
Why- to help you catch more fish in the Indian River and Mosquito Lagoons!
How- We traverse (in vehicles) the dike roads along the margins of the lagoon system, stopping periodically to discuss locations, tactics, and techniques for fishing for redfish and seatrout in the lagoon system. We cover knots, rods, reels, lines, lures, and baits, as well as how to fish those lures and baits. We visit all the open boat ramps, canoe/kayak launches, and wading access points in the wildlife refuge.
You will learn more in one day during this popular seminar than you could in a year on your own!
Here's what attendees at past seminars have said:
- "I attended John's Show and Tell on Saturday 02/11/06 and he gave us many tips on fishing the Indian River and Mosquito Lagoons. He got me pumped to go fishing again in shallow water. Launched at a little spot between Vero and Ft Pierce. Was casting a DOA 1/4 oz CAL jig with a shad tail on it and the 2nd cast was a hook up. The fish made several big runs, but was not jumping in the shallow so ruled out snook. When it got in sight it was a nice spotted tail. Landed it and it was 26.5 inches. Second cast after had another hook up and it was a 16 inch red. There was a much larger fish swimming with it. Total time on water less than 3 hours.
Can't wait to do it again and am sold that this would not have happened had I not gone up for John K's Show and Tell."
-Bernie Kerr
-"My 12 year old son and I went on Capt. John Kumiski's 'Show and Tell' yesterday and it was a BLAST..I learned more fishing hot spots and more places to put in or not put in that other wise would have taken me years to learn.
If you are an avid shallow-water angler and want to know MORE of where to fish on the IRL and Mosquito Lagoon in and around Titusville, Merritt Island, Haulover Canal to Oak Hill this is a must..Capt John doesn't hold back - he'll tell you whatever you want to know.In JUST one afternoon I have a dozen 'Top-Notch' places to fish the rest of the year!!!!" -Tom Ratcliff
-"Thanks John, it was a great day yesterday, even with the cold. I really appreciated the overview of your lures. I did not know that there were rattles for the DOA Shrimp. Thanks for the extra tutorial at the end of the day on the knots. Looking forward to putting my new knowledge to use. Thanks again!" - Eric Schreiner
-"Just wanted to say thanks for the great show-n-tell seminar
yesterday. Even though the weather was freezing, it was a fantastic day and I really feel like I learned a lot.
Thanks again for the great seminar and I really appreciate you taking the time to share your vast knowledge with others like myself who are trying to learn how to fish the IRL and ML. Thanks again!"
-Doug McClendon
- "The seminar was well put together. Actually going to the
spots/ramps makes a big difference, particularly after reading about the places in your books. Print's nice, but you can't beat the visual impact for learning." - Mike Hodge
